Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actor. She has received numerous awards including an Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is a part of the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore achieved fame as a child actress with her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent early life filled with alcohol and drugs dependence, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 1990s she was a part of several films, like PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore appeared alongside Adam Sandler on a few films: The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Barrymore became famous as a child actress with her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She wrote Little Girl Lost, her autobiography of her childhood filled with drug and alcohol abuse.
